Publication Guidelines
Manuscripts should be submitted to a member of the editorial board. Contributions can be published in German, English French or Spanish. The articles should be accompanied by abstracts in three of the four corresponding languages (German, Spanish, French and/or English) of no more than 200 words, and by a short biographical note (about 100 words; please include a photo).
All rights remain with the author.
Manuscripts of articles can only be accepted if submitted as computer files
formatted in Microsoft Word or Rich Text Format

Graphic files should be submitted in tiff, jpg or gif format. Do not integrate graphic files into the text files. Please send high resolution scans of 300dpi.
Citations can take the form of footnotes or parenthetical references to a list of works cited at the end of the article. In either case, the article should be accompanied by a complete bibliography.

Einprägsam und öffentlichkeitswirksam hat Hans Küng in seinen Publikationen, Filmberichten und Medienauftritten der neunziger Jahre immer wieder jene Worte wiederholt, die er bewusst an den Anfang seines Projekts stellte: "Kein Überleben ohne Weltethos. Kein Weltfriede ohne Religionsfriede. Kein Religionsfriede ohne Religionsdialog." (Küng 1997, 13)
Wie die Moderne im Sinne von Jürgen Habermas (Habermas 1981, 444-466) ist das Weltethos ein unvollendetes Projekt.
Kaum zwei Wochen später, am 30. Mai 1837, gestand der Naturforscher und Schriftsteller, der in Berlin bei Hegel Vorlesungen hörte, seinem Freund Varnhagen von Ense:
"Hegel's geschichtliche Studien werden mich besonders interessiren, weil ich bisher ein wildes Vorurtheil gegen die Ansicht hege, daß die Völker, ein jedes, etwas repräsentiren müssen; daß alles geschehen sei, »damit erfüllet werde« was der Philosoph verheißt. Ich werde aufmerksam lesen, und gern von meinem Vorurtheile zurückkommen." (Humboldt 1860, 43)
